Terms of Service
Launch draft — plain-English working text, pending final legal review.
Last updated: 31 October 2026. PitchReel (“we”, “us”) turns a resume you upload into a short narrated video (“film”). By ordering, you agree to these terms.
1. What you get
One MP4 video (1080×1920, vertical) per paid order, in the length tier you selected (Short ≈30 sec, Standard ≈60 sec, Full ≈90 sec; actual duration follows the final script). Two cuts exist: Explainer (type and data only) and With Photo (your photograph composed into the layout).
2. The script is yours
Our draft script is cut only from the resume you upload. Before payment you review it line by line, may edit it, and then lock it. Production uses exactly the script you locked — that locked version is the basis of the film and of any dispute about content. Figures in the film must match your resume; our system rejects script edits that introduce figures not present in the uploaded resume.
3. Your content, your responsibility
You must own or hold the rights to the resume and any photo you upload, and the resume’s contents must be truthful as far as you present them. We do not verify employment claims beyond checking that the script quotes your document. You are responsible for how you use the finished film.
4. Payment
Checkout is handled by Gumroad. An order enters production only after payment is verified against Gumroad’s records. Prices are in USD and shown before you pay. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
5. Acceptable use
Do not upload material you have no right to use, another person’s photo without their written consent, or content that is unlawful or deceptive. We may refuse or cancel such orders (with a full refund if production has not started).
6. Liability
The film is a presentation of your own document; we do not guarantee interviews, offers, or any hiring outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the version live when you ordered governs your order.
